For those who don't know about Edson, he is a British (I believe) writer of westerns, who regularly includes long, vivid, violent catfights, starring such women as Calamity Jane. He also has written other types of novels, none of which I have--and which I would like to see.

agraf, even though it's not pretty, I can still read between the lines and get the passion and savagery of the story. Like you said, it's not great, but I get it. There are some french stories that were written to the Catie vs Audrey Yahoo group that I translated that had the same broken english, but still could feel that.
